Kirsten Noble

Kirsten Noble’s university experience began with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. She quickly realised that her skills and interests were more suited to the finance sector, and was able to transfer to a degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Northampton.

She credits the support she received from her lecturers and the main University learning website, for making the transition as smooth as possible, "after a few intensive catch-ups in the library, I pretty much hit the ground running."

Within a few weeks, Kirsten was up to speed, and went on to achieve a first class honours in her degree. Considering the leap of faith she took, the qualification really was the icing on the cake.

Alongside being an all-star student, Kirsten sweeps up on the rink too, playing ice hockey for 2018 Women’s Premier League Play-offs champions, the Milton Keynes Falcons. An extremely impressive feat, considering the intensity of her study, and the degree level she achieved. An ice hockey addict from a young age, Kirsten found a way to push herself both academically and athletically while studying. She was even asked to trial for the prestigious GB University Team in Sheffield.

Just one month after completing her studies, Kirsten landed her first job at local accountancy firm DNG Dove Naish, where she’s putting the skills she gained from her degree to the test.
