Computers are used throughout our daily lives and businesses, and consequently the industry is continually growing and evolving. In this course you will be exposed to the wide reaching influences that computers and computing technology have on the world, as well as the contribution that you may be able to make to future advances.

This two year programme introduces a wide range of fundamental principles pertinent to the development of new computer technologies to meet future needs. This means that you will be able to relate your knowledge of computer networks technology to the wider computing industry.

  • Standard entry requirements apply. A typical offer is BTEC qualifications of MPP, A level grades of DEE or 64 UCAS points.
  • GCSE Mathematics or equivalent at grade C or above.
  • Previous experience of computing is desirable.
  • We welcome international applicants and applications from students with a range of non-traditional educational or professional qualifications.
  • Those who do not have English as their first language will need to demonstrate that they meet the minimum English language requirement of IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent).
